This eye-catching design stays true to the core principles of Carlos’s style: the flag of Spain, the chrome in the back and a blueish upper side, while Estrella Galicia 0,0 logo keeps on the chin rest. The chili drawing and Maria de Villota’s star all appear on the unit, as they did in 2016.
 
There are a few novelties, but two stand out from the rest. The first one is the use of glitter, which is now more obvious than in the previous designs and really makes this helmet particularly striking. Glitter is now found in the 55 number. The second change affects the back of the helmet, with a move to Red Bull’s mate dark blue and the outstanding red letters of the energizing drinks company.
